Caremark Cheshire North East is so proud to put our carer Komal in the spotlight.
Apart from the wonderful feedback that Komal has received for his care and dedication to his role from our clients, We recently received something quite out of the ordinary from another disciplinary.
We therefore want to share and celebrate this by putting our Carer Komal in the spotlight!
An Occupational Therapist supporting our client also had this to say about their experience working alongside Komal at the visit.
” I am writing to share my appreciation of carer Komal, whom I met yesterday at a care call in Macclesfield.
It was important to let you know how impressed I was with his attitude, time keeping and his professionalism.
In particular, I would like to congratulate Komal on his very high standard of moving & handling, including sling fitting/removal, repositioning of client & hoisting techniques.
Over the 15 years I have worked as an OT on moving & handling teams across a number of local authorities, I can safely say that there has not been one visit where I was able to not intervene to correct techniques etc. being carried out by formal carers – Yesterday was that day – Komal completed all tasks in a ‘text book’ manner showing care & compassion & knowledge of moving & handling techniques, not once did I need to pass comment re tasks, highlight unsuitable practice or give any negative feedback.
I would whole heartedly recommend that all new carers that start work with Caremark, shadow Komal on his visits as they will certainly learn the correct way of providing care & completing moving & handling of clients.”

Komal has embraced all that the team at Caremark believe in. He has carried this into the field and has shown the highest level of standards not just to our clients but other professionals who support our clients.
It is also wonderful to know that investment in our in-house training academy is benefitting our clients. Our in-house training is designed to ensure customers receive the care and support that they deserve.
We truly value any member of the team that delivers in their role with such care and attention to detail and professionalism that Komal has shown and we couldn’t be prouder of him.
